1990年代から2000年代に撮影されたメッセンジャーの本場”New York”のリアルな写真集です。多くの人から愛されたメッセンジャー"Fast" Eddie Williamsが最も熱かった時代のNYCメッセンジャーの写真の数々はメッセンジャーファンなら誰しも憧れる情景が切り取られています。
2023年9月に行われたCMWC 2023 Yokohamaでは、故Eddie Williamsの写真とその友人による写真家と写真展『Bike Messengers Life:New York City/Eddie Williams-バイクメッセンジャーライフ:ニューヨークシティ/エディ・ウイリアムズ写真展』をみなとみらいギャラリーにて開催致しました。
またEddie Williamsの愛車の絵をラベルにしたオリジナルビール「Brooklyn Black Stout」が馬車道里武士より販売されました。

”Fast”Eddie Williams
写真家。1984年から亡くなる2016年まで、生涯現役を貫いたニューヨークを代表する自転車メッセンジャー。「Fast Eddie」と呼ばれ人々から愛された。メッセンジャー写真家の元祖の一人であり、現在でも自転車を主軸とした都市型ライフスタイルのドキュメンタリーを撮る若手写真家たちに大きな影響を与えている。
